Tim Audette

LouAnne Audette, OTR, has been a registered Occupational Therapist since 1975. After reading about the success of Moving Solutions and its founder, Margit Novack, LouAnne became determined that there was a need for move assistance for senior citizens in the metro Detroit area.

Along with her husband Tim, LouAnne completed an internship with Margit and Moving Solutions in 2000 and founded Moving Forward. A year later, Margit Novak and a few brave pioneers started The National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM), a professional association geared toward providing the unique services of this growing industry. Moving Forward became a member of NASMM as soon as it was possible to do so and continues to be an active member.

Tim Audette, with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration & Business Law, has been managing the business of Moving Forward full time since 2004. Both Tim and LouAnne are experienced in looking out for the best interests of families and older adults when helping them with major life decisions, especially in times of transition brought on by changes in physical or mental functioning, or loss of a spouse.

As parents, grandparents and active members of the community, they have always been involved in various social advocacy groups including those dealing with physical and educational accessibility, scouting, music promotion, food cooperatives, church and support group leadership, and donating to medical, home building, and environmental concerns.

Tim and LouAnne and all the crew at Moving Forward are thrilled to be able to provide the invaluable services of senior move management to the people of Southeast Michigan. It is a joy to respond to the needs of the community and make the senior move experience a positive one for seniors and their families.
